Ninjas in Pyjamas have announced that they have added Mikail "Maikelele" Bill to their team on a trial basis.
The ESL One Cologne champions had been in the market for a new fifth player following the departure of Robin "Fifflaren" Johansson, who decided to retire from gaming after the team's group stage exit at ESWC 2014.
With DreamHack Winter's $250,000 tournament looming, NiP wasted little time in finding a new player and recruited Mikail "Maikelele" Bill, who is known for his spells in LGB and SK Gaming.
Maikelele joins NiP on trial
The Swedish player had been a free agent after being released by UnWanted last month over internal problems. He ended up filling in for mousesports for a while, but the team decided against picking him up on a permanent basis due to having two AWPers in the squad already.
"He is a young and hungry player that has impressed me a lot over the last few months," said Christensen.
"He has a lot of people to prove wrong and we have decided to give him a chance of a lifetime and we will see what the future shows.
"I know that he will cherish this opportunity and do his best to make the team move forward.
"I am confident that he will find a place in the NiP family, that his trial-period will go well, and I wish to officially welcome him!"
NiP, who will attend DreamHack Winter later this month, now have the following lineup:
