fxy0: "KQLY a cheater since 2013"
Former Epsilon member Joey "fxy0" Schlosser has said that he is "100% sure" that Hovik "KQLY" Tovmassian had been cheating for more than a year and a half.
Last week, the French CS:GO scene was handed a heavy blow as Titan's Hovik "KQLY" Tovmassian and Epsilon's Gordon "Sf" Giry were VAC banned, which resulted in both teams being disqualified from DreamHack Winter.
In a statement issued on Friday, KQLY admitted to trying out a cheating program but stressed that it only happened for a week, on matchmaking and public servers, and that it was before he joined Titan.
fxy0 approves of Titan's and Epsilon's disqualification
However, Joey "fxy0" Schlosser, who was due to attend DH Winter with Epsilon as a stand-in, says such remarks could not be further from the truth as, according to him, the former Titan member had been cheating since March 2013, when he attended Gamers Assembly with Clan-Mystik.
"I can say I am 100% sure he had been cheating in all tournaments since GA 2013," he told Millenium.org.
"I think he had an aimkey with a bind on his mouse. He is trying to minimise his action. It is sad.
"When GMX and I saw the news about KQLY's VAC ban, it was not a surprise for me. I knew he had been cheating for almost two years, and some other players had suspicions about it, too."
"I heard that people think kioShima is cheating, but I do not think so," he said. "The story about this inventory was weird, but I do not believe he cheats.
"The only cheater in France was Julien "AREA" Dubois, and he is KQLY's best friend, so I was sure about KQLY.
"Even if I am sad about not going to DreamHack, if someone cheats then they have to be VAC banned.
"For instance, Titan qualified for DH Winter because they had three players from the LDLC [that attended ESL One Cologne]. If KQLY cheated in the tournament, it means that Titan were qualified because of a cheater."
"I know jw cheated soon after the game was released against Pasha, NEo, TaZ, Kuben and Loord," he noted.
"Taz, pasha and Neo wrote on HLTV.org that jw was obviously cheating. This story has been forgotten, and he was not VAC banned because VAC was not updated as often as it is today.
"If someone shows me flusha's action on dust2 without the name of the player, I would say he is cheating, especially the one on de_dust2, in which his crosshair is locked at the head of the opponent even though he has no clue where the opponent is.
"It is really weird, I hope VAC will look into it as soon as possible, but I do not know what they will do because teams [for DH Winter] have already been announced and the stickers have been released."
