nitr0 joins Denial

December 16th, 2014 23:03

Nick "nitr0" Cannella has moved from a stand-in role on Torqued to the more stable berth of Denial eSports.

Althouh Nick "nitr0" Cannella was seen in action playing for Torqued yesterday in their MLG X Games Qualifier bid, the North American talent has moved on to Denial, replacing Jacob "FugLy" Medina

The roster change was also confirmed on Denial's official Twitter. As mentioned earlier today, nitr0 has shown promise during high profile matches and the move is no doubt meant to secure his spot in a rising North American roster.

nitr0 will be looking to bolster Denial's firepower

Speaking of the change, Denial player Todd "anger" Williams had this to say:

"It's a hard decision to do this but we feel nitr0 will be a better player in the long run. With him being an ex-teammate and winning the John Wick tournament with us we know that he will mesh well with our team already. This is by far the hardest decision this team has ever had to make but this is an opportunity that we can't pass up. FugLy is a great player and has a bright future ahead of him and I wish him the best of luck," Williams told HLTV.org.

nitr0 will debut tonight in Denial's MLG X Games Qualifier match-up against LunatiK. He will be joined by another recent addition to Denial's roster, Eric "adreN" HoagDenial's line-up will therefore look as follows:

United States Eric "adreN" Hoag
Canada Damian "daps" Steele
Canada Keith "NAF" Markovic
United States Todd "anger" Williams
United States Nick "nitr0" Cannella

Stay posted to HLTV.org for any more line-up changes ahead of the new year.

After Hiko left c9, it was obvious other teams would make changes to grab better players where possible. I dont see how any of this is surprising.

nothing is surprising, i just find funny that nitr0 played 1 day in Torqued and then left them to join a team he had left before to join iBP
2014-12-16 23:29
yea I feel ya, but I think it was a smart move to go to denial who is a better team plus has a sponsor. cant fault the guy for following the money

i know, but he didn't even play it till the end. and btw, hiko is technically also a stand-in for MLG, but we all know he joined them. that's just what everybody says right now.

look at the French scene... they had the players just needed to switch up the line-ups and now we have LDLC #2 team in CSgo atm. sick of hearing people who suck at CS bitch about rosters changing.
2014-12-17 01:25
But the difference is, those players already had agreed the changes before releasing the news. It only happened one day.
2014-12-17 03:09
what captainallen said regarding timing. however end of year + MLG Aspen [and the idea of sticker money down the line ] is definitely reason for more shake ups.
2014-12-17 16:00
its the end of the lan season, this is where all roster changes are going to happen.

desi? fugly? wtf... why would you play with todd? everybody hates todd. Hate denial
2014-12-16 23:22
I don't see how anyone could laughing at the NA cs:go scene. All the members of ibp made amends with each other and formed the strongest team possible unlike the past where the top teams had 1-2 weak players. As a result of all this teams are picking up the cut players\filling holes.
2014-12-16 23:23
+1 after the hiko shuffle we knew more would follow. thats just the way it goes
2014-12-16 23:26

Says a Canadian. The Canadian scene isn't that good either.

+1 Anger is actually the worst player on that team and toxic as fuck. I feel bad for that team cause they aren't going to accomplish shit with that faggot on the team. Fugly is way more consistent of a player. Theres a reason no one wants to play with anger, cause he sucks fucking cow dick.
