cajunb: "This will be our year"
dignitas member René "cajunb" Borg stated that he believes the team will finally reach their goals in 2015.
René "cajunb" Borg returned to dignitas in October following a five-month stint in Copenhagen Wolves, stepping into the shoes of Philip "aizy" Aistrup, curiously the player that had replaced him on the team.
But the team's run of poor results continued, and a quarter-final exit at DreamHack Winter resulted in drastic changes, with Finn "karrigan" Andersen being brought in to replace ingame leader Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen.
cajunb confident about what lies ahead
Last week, dignitas qualified for MLG X Games Aspen in convincing fashion, and cajunb believes that all the signs point to a great year of 2015 for his team.
"Without jinxing it too much, I do believe that this will be our year," he told dignitas' website. "We have the right fundamentals and support that we need to reach our goals next year.
"We know what we have to focus on for the next year, so yes, it will be our year."
The Danish player then commented on his departure from the team earlier in the year, confirming that occurred because of internal problems.
"I was not that surprised to be invited back into the team, I do not think they had that much success with Philip even though he had some great moments," he noted.
"We didn’t get separated because we had bad results, we got separated because we didn’t get along at that time and we also had a good run at that time, so it was really sad that we had to split up."
