SKDC change three
SapphireKelowna have announced that they have revamped their roster with the additions of three new players.
SKDC have established themselves as a prominent figure in the upper echelon of the North American CS:GO scene over the last year, even though they always seem to fall short when paired against the top sides of the continent.
Following a disappointing seventh-place finish and a 3-11 record in the last ESEA Season, SKDC captain Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien has decided to dismiss Owen "wabbit" Farrelly, Terrence "Tvu" Vu and Tyler "Char" Wallace, while retaining the services of Ellis "els" Clay.
To replace the departing trio, OCEAN approached Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, an up-and-coming talent who raised a few eyebrows in JusTus Pro, and former Mobility duo Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz and Addison "zecK" Gorzeck.
"After a disappointing season in ESEA-Invite, we decided that a few changes were necessary," O'Brien told HLTV.org. "We kept the same core of the roster, and brought in upcoming talent in the shape of EliGe, stan, and zecK.
"We’re excited to get started and compete at the highest level. Our goal is to establish ourselves as a serious contender in the CS scene, which also means that we are seeking to represent an organization that shares this ambition.
"After 8 seasons of playing under SapphireKelownDotCom, we have mutually parted ways, and are thankful for all the support they have given us. We hope to find a new home soon; as we are eager to prove that we are a top tier team."
