eLevate change two

eLevate have announced that their CS:GO squad has undergone two changes ahead of ESEA Season 18.

The North American team failed to impress at the ESEA Finals last month, finishing 7th-8th following a 0-2 thrashing by fnatic and a 1-2 defeat against Denial eSports.

With the new ESEA season just around the corner, eLevate have announced that they have parted ways with Salvatore "Volcano" Garozzo, while Matt "Warden" Dickens has been moved to a coaching position.

Warden steps down from lineup to become team coach

To fill these two places, eLevate recruited Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, who had joined Canadian side SKDC only a week ago, and Daniel "roca" Gustaferri, who comes from Area51.

The double change seems to have produced immediate effects, as eLevate beat the new Denial roster 16-11 and Mythic 16-10 last night to move up to second in CEVO's standings, only behind Torqued.

With these changes, eLevate now have:

United States Tyler "Storm" Wood
France David "Xp3" Garrido
United States William "RUSH" Wierzba
United States Daniel "roca" Gustaferri
United States Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski

2015-01-09 00:15
Roca is nuts gl
2015-01-08 16:57
WTF is wrong with the american csgo scene?!?! People being replaced before they even can make a mark in a team, and when a team grows stronger and are starting to make some progress, either they gets rid of a key player or just drops the whole team. Teams throwing games just for skins and doesnt care about the community or the future for their organisation.

Lol volcano joined before esea lan and played one event with them.. Warden has been the leader since u5 like 3 seasons ago, I would have preferred to see storm step down instead, warden was their IGL and is overall a must more consistent player than storm

if hes going to be coaching most of their games, he might still be the IGL same way blad3 was for HR at DHW. csgo needs a team based MM system with a 6th slot reserved for coaches the same way dota2 does.

volcano has a job so he cant commit full time, i think he wanted to coach and help his old buddies instead of sticking around with noobs in TST
2015-01-08 23:51
LOL wat r u talkin about? He was in TST like 2 months ago...
2015-01-09 00:16
No, those other teams are just changing to better organisations you idiot. Some people making roster changes doesn't really mean much and is probably for the better in most cases, since they've been together for months already in most cases.

Very strong online team for sure. rush, roca and elige are very good online players. We'll have to see how they hold up on LAN.
