HellRaisers have announced that they have parted ways with veteran Yegor "markeloff" Markelov and hot-shot Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev.
The Ukrainian team changed their roster in September, bringing in Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, one of the hottest properties in Eastern Europe, to replace Kazakh veteran Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev following a series of mixed results.
Despite some impressive performances from the 17-year-old Ukrainian, HellRaisers' results failed to improve, with the team crashing out of ESWC and DreamHack Winter in the quarter-finals.
markeloff now a free agent
Following a 0-3 beating against LDLC in the grand final of the G2A.com cup, HellRaisers have decided to part ways with Yegor "markeloff" Markelov, who had been part of the squad since their inception, in Astana Dragons, and with s1mple.
Despite rumours about his retirement, the Ukrainian AWPer says that he will continue to play and has vowed to come back stronger than ever.
"I want to thank everyone who was part of HR since its foundation (Astana Dragons) and wish them good luck," Markelov told HR's website.
"I had a great time playing together with you. I will continue trainings and progress, I think that I still can play and win.
"This situation never made me upset; on the contrary, it gave me a furious motivation, which I lost lately, and an eagerness to reveal my potential in CS:GO."
"I would like to thank HellRaisers for the invitation," Vasilyev said. "This is a step forward for me and an opportunity to prove that this is the right time for me to reach a new level.
"I would like to personally thank Andrew "B1ad3" Gorodensky and everyone else with whom I played in dAT."
