Team SoloMid pick up dignitas
According to team dignitas website, the CS:GO team who just placed third at MLG X-Games Aspen have left the organization to join Team SoloMid.
After spending a fairly successful year in the British organization, the Danish team who previously went by the names of Copenhagen Wolves and über G33KZ have left dignitas.
The move comes minutes after Nicolai "device" Reedtz's team defeated fnatic 2-0 to clinch the third place at MLG X-Games Aspen, the first international CS:GO tournament in 2015.
karrigan's team are set to join TSM
This marks Team SoloMid, one of the best known League of Legends organizations, entering the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene, following in CLG's footsteps.
Though Team SoloMid have not announced the move yet, but dignitas have posted a statement that spoiled the surprise and publicized the Danes' intention to join TSM:
"Today unfortunately we have to say goodbye to our Danish Counter-Strike: Global Offensive lineup. The players have decided not to renew their contracts at the end of the month and will be joining Team SoloMid from February 1st.
"We have nothing but great things to say and would like to thank the squad for their services during their time in Team Dignitas. We wish them all the best in their future careers.
"For us this means having to move on and we're excited to announce our new CS:GO roster shortly."
Assuming the move will be confirmed, Team SoloMid will be represented by the following roster:
René "cajunb" Borg
Nicolai "device" Reedtz
Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen
Finn "karrigan" Andersen
Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth
Team SoloMid's first international event will most likely be ESL One Katowice, the next CS:GO major, which they qualified for at DreamHack Winter. It will take place on March 12-15.
