NiP to run esports summer camp
NiP have announced that they will host a three day summer camp in the town of Nynäshamn, Sweden that will be dedicated towards esports.
Running for three days in the month of June, the NiP-hosted esports summer camp will feature around 300 attendees and instruction in CS:GO and Dota2 from NiP's own respective players and managers from those games.
The camp will be called "Area08" and take place in Nynäsham, Sweden, which is just outside of the capital of Stockholm. NiP will be hosting the camp in cooperation with Eventosaurus, a company which specialises in event-hosting and management.
NiP's CS:GO team will put forward players to coach at the camp
The event will emphasise direct hands-on learning and instruction from pros and managers, and then allow attendees to try out what they've been taught firsthand in-game.
Aside from gaming instruction, there will also be instruction in physical wellness outside of the game and a course in in-game ethics courtesy of the Swedish organisation Friends.
Project manager Andjela Kusmuk has confirmed that the camp will have no age limit but that it will be alcohol-free. The organisation is also looking into providing two sets of admission prices: one for those who bring their own equipment and one for those who rent on site.
