NiP beat Acer to win ESPORTSM

Ninjas in Pyjamas won the 2015 edition of Swedish Championship after easing past Acer 2-0 (16-5 on de_train and de_dust2).

With NiP's debut in DreamHack Summer's main competition scheduled for Sunday, Richard "Xizt" Landström's men stepped onto the stage in Jönköping to play the grand final of ESPORTSM, commonly known as the Swedish Championship, against Team Acer, with over $10,000 at stake.

All those who had been looking forward to this match were certainly left disappointed to see Acer field two stand-ins, 1337's Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg and fragbite reporter André "rich" Åkerblom, instead of Björn "THREAT" Pers and Christian "Spitfire" Schiölde.

NiP succeed fnatic as Swedish champions

The match, which was broadcast live on TV6, was pretty much one-sided from start to finish as NiP quickly disposed of their opponents on two maps while conceding just 10 rounds in total.

I'm not saying uk is great, but sweden is worse
2015-06-14 16:06
hahaha best joke of the day. The UK newspaper is filling the citezens with bullshit. While There are tons of immigrants and terrorist in UK there is small part of immigrants in sweden like 20 % is immigrants in sweden so before judging actually learn shit.
2015-06-14 16:10
lol uk doesn't have anything near 20% immigrants
2015-06-14 16:23
omg are all UK people that retarded ?
2015-06-14 16:23
It's about 12% if you check wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign-born_popul.. Sweden is about 27%. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immigration_to_Swe..

"NiP succeed fnatic as Swedish champions" Did fnatic even play in this tournament...?
2015-06-14 02:28
fnatic won ESPORTSM 2014, so NiP takes over the title for now.
2015-06-14 02:35
Ooh, makes sense now.
2015-06-14 02:54
Last year fnatic was eliminated from DH Summer and odds were 90-10 for this game, and fnatic thrashed NIP...biggest throw ive ever seen :D
2015-06-14 09:21
Well like friberg said in a interview over at frabite yesterday: The final against fnatic was just tilt-gaming. The final was scheduled to play like 19.00 CET but started at 02.00 CET or something. And NiP had games they day after that, at 10.00 CET. And the final was finished at like 05 at the morning. And like you said, NiP was still in the DH tournament, but fnatic wasn't. So NiP was just so mad that they still got to play the game at that hour when NiP had games very early next day after. And didn't reschedule it for another day/next day.
2015-06-14 14:34
I didnt mean throw for skins, but yes,NIP threw the game because the prize money difference between 1st and 2nd was not much....but fnatic at that time was a very bad team...and it was really unexpected....
2015-06-14 14:58
no, out in qualifications

So threat would rather go to the analyst desk rather than playing with his team in a grand final?
2015-06-14 08:23
sweden mate, they dont know what is logic
2015-06-14 11:50
I think he rather wanted to play with his team but at the same time he has work he cant do as he want. He is smart he know they never will be top 1 in cs so its better to cast for his career.
2015-06-14 12:16
So ez money for NiP

why was everyone so stoked about devilwalk making a comeback? do none of you remember him as a player?
2015-06-14 11:12
No one expected him returning to professional gaming again that's why.
2015-06-14 13:46
i guess so. the hype was like one of the best players ever were returning, when reality is a decent support player made a comeback into a scene, where support players are fading away
2015-06-14 14:51
