SK Gaming have swapped their in-game leader, Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen, for Danny "BERRY" Krüger, the organization announced on their website.
At the end of June, SK Gaming announced the acquisition of a newly formed lineup, calling themselves undefined, led by former Copenhagen Wolves in-game leader, Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen.
Even as Copenhagen Wolves, the same core of the team had problems maintaining a stable line-up, especially after Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen left the team to become a part of dignitas.
BERRY joins up with SK Gaming
Today the team said their goodbyes to HUNDEN, who has had a disappointing streak of insufficient performances both on LAN and online. Replacing him is a player quite well known from his time in Counter-Strike 1.6, leading teams such as Anexis and TCM Gaming, Danny "BERRY" Krüger.
He also had his share in the newest version, as he's played with numerous current SK players in his teams, NO SIR! and No Problem!, the latter of which moved to CPLAY, where he played up until now.
"It has been a tough decision to switch out but it is the right thing to do. We have done everything to improve with the lineup we had but it didn't happen. We need a new type of ingame leader and that's what we got now in Berry." Michael "Friis" Jørgensen said in a statement.
I look forward to working with him again as he has what it takes to make the team better tactically. I also want to thank Nicolai for all the time we had together and wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
With the change, SK Gaming's squad looks as follows:
