p@p@d@s seek home
p@p@d@s have announced that they are seeking an organisation to represent at the offline qualifier for ESL One Cologne.
p@p@d@s were the surprise package of the online pre-qualifiers for the upcoming major as they beat well established teams like HEADSHOTBG, Infused and Epsilon to secure a spot at the event in Cologne.
Created just a few weeks ago, p@p@d@s boast three players from Spain and two from Portugal, all with significant experience under their belts.
loWel & co are looking for an organisation
With the offline qualifier for ESL One Cologne just around the corner, the team are now looking for an organisation to represent at the event and beyond as they look to take the Iberian scene by storm.
"rmn and I wanted to create something new and better to keep us motivated," team member Christopher "mUttt" Fernandes told HLTV.org.
"We looked at the options available in Portugal and we saw that we could not find it here. We had already played alongside Aguila and we had enjoyed it. When we spoke with him for the first time, we immediatelly talked about lowel, who had just left x6tence.
"Then, we discussed the possibility of having blade lead the team. We started playing and, after a few days, we saw that we had found just what we needed.
"Unlike what has been said, this is not a mix that has turned into a team. We knew right away that this would be a team. We only needed a few days to realise that we we worked well together and that we had the same goals.
"We really like to play together and we have already achieved something important: we are one step shy of a major event.
"Our preparation for this event will be the same as always: we will practice several days a week to continue to grow and make it to Cologne at 100 per cent.
"I think this qualifier will be different from all we have experienced so far, and it will help our team to grow.
"It is clear we dream of playing at a major and competing against the best players in the world. That is where every player wants to be. But we will think match by match and then we will see where it leads us."
All organisations interested in supporting p@p@d@s can contact the team via e-mail at email@example.com. They will attend the ESL One Cologne offline qualifier, on July 25-26, with:
