SK replace Kinguin at ESWC

Team Kinguin have withdrawn from the ESWC finals, the event's organisers have revealed.

According to ESWC, Kinguin have pulled out of the tournament as a result of the recent roster changes, which saw Dennis "dennis" Edman step into the shoes of former ingame leader Alexander "SKYTTEN" Carlsson.

Replacing Kinguin in Montreal will be SK Gaming, who were last week in action at Gfinity Summer Masters 1 - the team's first event since picking up Danny "BERRY" Krüger.

SK Gaming will attend ESWC 2015

In London, the Danish side were sent packing after just two matches but still had some very close maps against Ninjas in Pyjamas and Titan.

The list of participants for the ESWC finals now looks as follows:

France Titan Sweden NiP
CIS Na`Vi France EnVyUs
Brazil Keyd Stars Australia Renegades
United States Team Liquid South Africa Bravado Gaming
China QeeYou United States Cloud9
Denmark SK Gaming United States Luminosity
United States CLG Ukraine FlipSid3 Tactics
France LDLC White Canada ESWC Canada winner

ESWC 2015 will run from July 9-12 in Montreal as part of the Mondial des Jeux Loto Québec and Just for Laughs Festival, with $75,000 on offer in the male CS:GO tournament.

2015-07-03 11:43
So fnatic are unprofessional aswell? TSM too?
2015-07-03 23:14
why?
2015-07-03 11:43
because mukilali is scared to fly
2015-07-03 11:45
Tournament is becoming less and less relevant with no proper teams attending :/ Exception, Navi, NIP, EnvyUs and maybe Keyd.
2015-07-03 11:44
You can't call it a major with TOP2 teams not attending
2015-07-03 11:53
Well I'm not calling it a major, but if I compare it to 1.6 days - ESWC has gone down in teams attending :(
2015-07-03 12:01
F3, Titan and C9 are OK
2015-07-03 14:35
F3 and Titan very inconsistent (but wone some bets with them) and C9 well... looking at ESEA ESL not sure what to say... a bit of a surprise

lolxDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDhowmuch
2015-07-03 11:58
(I am not betting on chokers, who are you kidding there..) The only T1 teams recognisable by far are TSM and fnatic.. Envy,NiP,VP are T2... TOP NA teams qualify as T3 along with Titan,Hellraisers,F3,NaVi,etc. Do you need any more explanations about how are you wrong?
2015-07-03 12:01
Your tiers are as small as my dick lol

2015-07-03 11:57
Envy after winning as many tournaments as NiP in last 4 months can be still considered T1?

Someone please explain to me why everyone are pulling out of ESWC
2015-07-03 12:01
They all want to give NiP chance to win their second LAN this year?
2015-07-03 12:02
Because teams are preparing for 250k major tournament which will be in August. The reason is that ESWC makes your preparation hard for the major, because you have to travel all together ~3days + tournament which will be 2-3days and in result of that you will lose one week of your preparation, moreover, most likely you will show there your new strats etc.
2015-07-03 12:04
Its almost two months away... What are you blabbering on about? You dont need that much time to prepare.
2015-07-04 18:59
They will concentrate on 250k major which is understandable.
2015-07-03 12:01
How is this related to kinguins choices?
2015-07-03 12:14
25.07 - 26.07 offline qualification where Kinguin is Attending. They are preparing for this qualification and they don't want to disturb their training/preparation period by that one tournament, because as I wrote before, this tournament will just take one whole week away from them and if they will show their strats there, it can be much harder during offline qualification.
2015-07-03 12:54
thought you were being sarcastic saying "they will concenctrate on 250k major"
2015-07-03 12:55
Kinguin won't make it, mukilili will choke.

2015-07-03 12:11
They can still be @ cologne, am i right? They are qualified to the LAN qualifier.
2015-07-03 12:16
When they are ready? Or do you really think high level competitive csgo is like matchmaking?
2015-07-03 12:19
they beat vp, f3 and navi. ok, i know isnt important tournment, but they can!! im sure kinguin are better than: Renegades Team Liquid Bravado Gaming QeeYou SK Gaming LDLC White
2015-07-03 13:10
i think they want to be ready for a big tourny before they attend, they are probably not ready, I am assuming they want to go and win, not go and compete to see where they are at.
2015-07-03 13:47
Kinguin would probably lose to both renegades and Liquid at this stage though
