GameGune 2008 has come to an end. Made in Brazil won the grand final versus mousesports.

As mousesports went into the final coming from lower bracket, they had to defeat Made in Brazil on two maps in order to win. mousesports had to play Made in Brazil's map first, but that did not seem to choke mousesports at all. A strong defensive side, made mousesports able to lock down the first half 11 to 4. Next up winning the pistol-round followed by three rounds where Made in Brazil had eco. Made in Brazil took the fifth round and regained some momentum. It did however not last long, as mousesports took the sixth round and won on inferno 16-5.

Next up was train, mousesports map choice. mousesports had the right to start CT and that seemed to fit the team perfectly. Starting with nailing the pistol round, Made in Brazil did not get a round until the fourth round, where they caught mousesports being sloppy. mousesports did not lose it and kept their momentum high, which resulted in a 11 to 4 win in the first half. Made in Brazil's turn to defend the train's. Pistol round went to the Brazilian team and from that point on, it was clear that the match would go to Made in Brazil. mousesports only managed to get 1 round, before the sambo boys got the needed 12 rounds, to win with 16 to 12 overall.

I thought that mibr is not capable of winning anything in 1.6 since they got into source. This makes their victory even bigger.

mouz need awp'er , mibr in train take 2 or 3 round on t side only thanks to tons awp kills :/
2008-07-27 09:48
I agree completely man. If they used the awp more when they were on T side in Train, they would have won for sure. They need a good AWP-er.

Very nice of x6tence, I don't think anyone expected them to land in 5-6 place after their last performances. Frag eX also suprised, was really hoping EG would take a top3 place..:(
