DH Stockholm format revealed

DreamHack has revealed the format and the full schedule for the upcoming event in Stockholm.

Sixteen teams from all over the world will be flying to Stockholm later this month for the next DreamHack Open event, which will serve as the offline qualifier for the upcoming major, in Cluj.

The competition will see the 16 participants split into four groups of four teams. Each group will give away two spots at DreamHack Open Cluj following a best-of-three, double-elimination stage.


Cloud9 will be competing at DH Open Stockholm 

The first four days of the tournament will be played from the Monster Energy DreamHack Studios, which will be closed to the public. On Saturday, September 26th, the remaining teams will play the decider matches at Annexet Globe Arenas in front of a live audience.

Meanwhile, DreamHack has announced that it will set up a practise room at the teams' hotel for players to use when they are not playing at the studio.

Nope. This qualifications are for 8 winners of Europe, NA, Asian pre-qual. and for 8 invited teams(which lost in groups at Cologne). And 8 teams from this event will qualify to major.
