Liquid advance to DH Open Stockholm

Team Liquid are the final team confirmed for DreamHack Open Stockolm, the official qualifier for the upcoming major at DreamHack Cluj-Napoca, after defeating compLexity 2-0 (16-2 on de_cbble and 16-10 on de_overpass).

The final slot of 16 teams that will be angling for the eight Challenger positions at DreamHack Open Stockholm was decided last night in the second leg of the North American pre-qualifier for DreamHack Cluj.

With Team Liquid advancing through the quarter-finals over the relatively unknown h00liGaNz team with ease, the semi-final showdown pitted Liquid against Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen's compLexity in a best-of-three format.

EliGE continues to shine in recent online performances

Unfortunately, the match was a fairly one-sided affair with Nick "nitr0" Cannella and Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski excelling in the fragging department and carrying Team Liquid through to an all-expenses paid trip to Stockholm for the DreamHack Open event on September 22-26.

nonono who cares about NA teams who will never go through groupstage?
2015-09-15 19:59
Your right, CPHW will probably make it to that quarter finals! Biggest Kappa of my life
2015-09-15 20:35
They have a chance to do it (but, yeah, will probably never do it, cause it's a young lineup, with differents language) But Liquid, they absolutely have no chance (they have no chans maj frend ) cus they never did well against euro teams, they even get defeated by Immunity in faceit lans haha They have Hiko now which have some experience but they definitely aren't going through quarters, no way. CLG or C9 could do it, but Liquid, no way.
2015-09-15 20:46
Liquid are raping LG, who have legend status. Ez liquid
2015-09-15 21:46
Yeah online.....also one or two of LGs players are going through some personal problems right now.
2015-09-15 22:55
Liquid still would fuck them on LAN, stop using the "online" thing as an excuse, doesn't make a game difference
2015-09-15 23:17
Yes it does, my god. Elige is shit on LAN. Online you get tons of ingame delays. LAN 99.99% of the time no fucking delays.
2015-09-16 01:07
Just you wait, ez game for liquid. I'll come back here and be sure to let you know.
