Serbia replace Brazil at TWC
As Brazil was unable to deliver a lineup in the required time, Serbia will fill in the South American spot at The World Championships.
Earlier this month Australia had to withdraw from The World Championships after qualifying with a 14-man lineup, due to a conflict with the Crown's Invitational in Melbourne.
Brazil have now found themselves in a similar situation. Although neither of Games Academy or Luminosity have a tournament close to the finals in Serbia, both organizations decided against letting their players go to Belgrade in less than three weeks.

Team manager Philip Renan was thus unable to complete a lineup in time, and E-Frag were forced to find another solution. Surprisingly, the spot will not stay within South America for unspecified reasons, as Serbia has been invited as the host nation.
Their team have failed to qualify on their own. Serbia ended up in fifth place in group B with a win over Ukraine, a tie with Netherlands and three losses, to Hungary, France and Spain.

The European qualifier is currently underway, groups A and B have already been played out and eight teams have secured a place in the deciding round of 16. You can find the current standings here.
