European Eight qualify for TWC 2015
The European qualifiers have finished for E-frag.net's World Championships 2015 event, introducing the final eight teams to travel to the $100,000 national team CS:GO event.
The qualification process for The World Championships 2015 has been what may be politely called hectic, with drama beginning early on in the preliminary stages over certain national lineups and continuing through the fiascos that included Australia and Brazil being unable to field a lineup.
Even the European powerhouse that is Denmark ran into lineup fielding issues recently, and thus dropped out, a move which automatically gave Chris "chrisJ" de Jong's Netherlands a qualification for the $100,000 finals in Belgrade, Serbia.

However, all involved can breathe a collective sigh of relief as, after three qualification rounds and then a single elimination, best-of-three single death playoffs, the eight final European teams have moved through to the offline event.
The eight teams to advance are: Netherlands (automatically advanced), Germany (defeated Spain 2-1), Norway (defeated Portugal 2-1), Sweden (defeated Kazakhstan 2-0), France (defeated Iceland 2-0), Poland (defeated Slovakia 2-1), Russia (defeated Hungary 2-0), and Belgium (defeated Finland 2-1).
The full team list for The World Championships 2015 is therefore:
We will continue releasing news articles as the official lineups are presented for each of the 16 teams; there are five more presentations to go which E-frag.net is set to release.
