EnVyUs, Na`Vi take wins in Group D
EnVyUs and Na`Vi have advanced to the Upper Bracket final of DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca's Group D after beating dignitas and CLG, respectively.
Group D's first game, the penultimate match of the day, kicked off on de_cbble with the map obviously enjoying a majority of playtime on the first day of DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca.
dignitas annihilated nV's CT pistol set-up with a triple nade onto Skyfall that took out two French players and gave the Danes the pistol round. Following the two anti-eco conversions however, nV took off on a streak of gun rounds and brought the score to 5-3.
Philip "aizy" Aistrup was a lynchpin in two afterplant rounds that went dignitas' way, equalising the score and forcing nV to force-buy. In classic nV fashion, the force-buy went the way of the French thanks partially to Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt's skill with the Desert Eagle; nV would finish the first half up 10-5.
NBK-'s nV breezed through dignitas
With aizy possessing more kills at the half (18) than the rest of his teammates combined, dignitas attempted to peek early on B long on their pistol but EnVyUs overwhelmed B with a rush through drop, taking the pistol.
The Boys in Baguette were in control from that point forward, only conceding one more round and taking the game 16-6 to advance to the Upper Bracket final of Group D.

The other game of the day pitted the Canadian-American CLG squad against the Russian-Ukrainian-Slovak squad of Na`Vi. Taking place on de_cbble (the map selection becoming almost blasé at this pont), it was a chance to revisit Na`Vi's 16-14 victory over CLG at ESL One Cologne.
Na`Vi kicked things off with a pistol round win on their CT side, which continued through to a victory on the first gun round as well to begin the CT half with forward momentum.
Josh "jdm64" Marzano used his AWP to put CLG on the board, but Na`Vi continued to accrue rounds with ease, bringing the score to 8-1 until a pistol-buy rush gave CLG control of B site and their second round of the game.
Following a miniature round renaissance by CLG, Na`Vi regained control of the first half and finished up 11-4. CLG however rallied with a pistol round win, and continued to gather up more rounds despite Na`Vi's determined march forward, with jdm64 once again shining.
jdm64 shone for CLG
With the score 13-10 for Na`Vi, and both teams having bought, Egor "flamie" Vasilyev helped open up A site to give Na`Vi their 14th round of the game. CLG however defended with a measure of success in the next round, which gave CLG momentum.
jdm64 once again kept CLG's hopes alive with a one-versus-two to bring the score to 14-12, but Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács finally resurfaced in the game in the next round and scored four crucial kills to give Na`Vi match point. With CLG on a pistol buy, the North American team fell before Na`Vi, with the game ending 16-12 for the latter team.
