HLTV.org talked to Liquid's Jonathan 'EliGE' Jablonowski about his team's victory over Virtus.pro as the only American team to advance to the semifinals of IEM San Jose.

Liquid featured in a 2-0 surprise takedown of Virtus.pro which was spearheaded by the American team's two main fraggers, Nick "⁠nitr0⁠" Cannella and Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski who helped power the team to victory over the Poles.

HLTV.org managed to speak with EliGE about the seventeen-year-old's performance and his thoughts on his team's newfound offline confidence.

Actually, for us native English speakers, stich sounds like a tryhard most of the time by using big words and advanced syntax structures that are not accurately in context. I've lost count on how many times he's failed in this way, and I winced each time. Listen up non-native speakers: before bothering to write anything in English for public view, make sure to polish up (seewhutididthar) on proper grammar and vocabulary before you end up making a fool of yourself like stich or miraa usually does lol

^Unfortunately, this guy doesn't sound like a native speaker, with it all the inaccurate word usage and syntax he's been pulling over the months. He can sprinkle his writing with bombastics all he wants, but it's like putting make-up on an ugly chick: always ugly no matter how she fixes herself up xD Moral of the story: learn the foundations first before attempting something far beyond your own skill level.

No offense, but you could teach Striker how to speak much clearer. Let him learn some lessons - the guy is really cool but the stuttering thing is killing all the interviews
