FNS steps down from CLG
Pujan "FNS" Mehta has stepped down from CLG's roster, the organization announced on their website alongside rebuilding the infrastructure of the CS:GO team.
CLG have been unable to pass the group stage of nearly every international event they've attended recently, including ESL ESEA Pro League Finals, IEM San Jose, RGN Pro Series Championship and DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca.
Despite trying to restructure by transferring leadership to Stephen "reltuC" Cutler from Pujan "FNS" Mehta, results haven't improved and FNS was unable to step up in the individual department despite lifting leadership off his shoulders.
FNS no longer part of CLG
As a result, CLG have decided to make a move, which sees the Canadian leave the roster. It doesn't look like the team has found a definitive replacement as of now, as CLG will be collecting applications to fill in the blank.
Apart from changing the roster, CLG also announced that they will be restructuring in the coaching department and support staff, although it remains to be revealed whether Faruk "pita" Pita's stint with the team at recent events will become a long-time deal.
"I don't want to play this game for financial stability. I want to win, and we were never going to win with that five. I'm planning on taking a bit of a break to see what kind of opportunities present themselves." Mehta revealed to HLTV.org.
