device: "We're pretty slow to adapt"

Our second interviewee at DreamHack ZOWIE Open Leipzig was Nicolai "device" Reedtz, who walked us through playing against dignitas and the thriller that was the mousesports encounter. We also asked about the new organization, for how long it's been in the works, and whether the player believes Astralis are the best-paid team currently.

Astralis' debut went quite well for Nicolai "device" Reedtz and company, who beat their Danish comrades from dignitas before taking on mousesports.

The second match was a double-overtime thriller, from which Astralis came out victorious especially due to three clutches from Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth and Finn "karrigan" Andersen.

We managed to get a hold of device for him to walk us through the way to semi-finals as well as the creation of Astralis and the deals that the team refused along the way.

whoa, thank you for paying me attention, bro! Actually I just asked, so easy there mate ;P Also I'm wondering, how did Valve make sure of "not changing nicknames so easily"?
2016-01-22 23:10
The players need to go through them first pretty much, since they asked players to give them a nickname they'd be using at majors (before Katowice I think).

Maybe it's not that easy to change his name everywhere on the page / in the DB, so they will stick with device or will change it maybe later!?

Great interview and good answers by Nicolai.. Some tough questions to tackle, would say he handled it very well. Good luck in the upcoming matches, this was hopefully just a warmup session :)

i have a feeling that ENVY is highest paid team because hastr0 mentioned that usually his players makes more than him in a long term.
