adreN to try out for TSM

Team Liquid have announced that Eric "adreN" Hoag is currently on trial with TSM.

The 25-year-old is currently on Liquid's books and will play for the North American team at the upcoming MLG Columbus major as Kenneth "koosta" Suen - their latest recruit - is ineligible to compete in the $1 million tournament.

During the coming weeks, however, Eric "adreN" Hoag will also be playing for TSM in CEVO Season 9 on a trial basis as the team seek a replacement for Daniel "vice" Kim, who was released from the roster earlier in the month.

adreN is on trial with TSM

According to a statement issued by Liquid on Facebok, adreN "will be back to practice with us [the team] leading up to the MLG event", where they will face FaZe, fnatic and Splyce in the group stage.

TSM, who will take on Complexity in the first round of CEVO Bracket #2, currently have:

Canada Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen
United States Timothy "autimatic" Ta
Canada Pujan "FNS" Mehta
United States Hunter "SicK" Mims
United States Eric "adreN" Hoag (trial)

United States Soham "valens" Chowdhury (coach)

TSM just want more news articles so they can get more sponsor money and people buying their merch. They don't really care too much about their team or how many matches they win, simply how much their brand gets spread around. TSM is the worst neglectant father ever.

Well Astralis dropped TSM because they didn't meet their terms. But even so it's weird for TSM to pick such an underdog like the current american team.

AdreN is no leader though, he has a lot of knowledge about the game, but that doesn't make him a good coach /leader

C9 dont really need a strong leader. They have freakazoid for that. Adren just needs to work on reading the game and making the right calls and freakazoid will keep everyone in line like what he did with sean

To get into this prestige-us team of legends a player must sustain four extreme tests which include hand-to-hand combat against a hundred china men, walk through fire and defeat a demon. Only then may a person like Hoag be worthy of taking part in this extraordinary team. A privilege only a chosen few mortals will reach in their life time.

2016-03-14 16:14
Lets go adreN ma boi!
2016-03-14 16:39
I seem to be in the minority, but I think it's not a bad pickup. Semphis is a good awper when he's not calling and I think Adren (if they use him for IGL), will be more conservative and not force up all the time like Semphis has a history of. I'm sure Adren wants to be awper, but I think Semphis should do this instead. I think they'll do better than people think. I don't see them any better than someone like Optic or Cloud9, but a 5th isn't terrible. I don't think they'll make a major, but should be able to hang around just on the outside and be competitive.

No way Liquid will make it far in the Major with adreN playing with a different team during practice time.
2016-03-14 19:50
TSM still trying now replacing players this roster is still shit and adreN won't make difference they do suck and they will never get better
2016-03-14 20:32
When Liquid had Nitr0 calling it was a mess, adreN had to clean their act up with loose calls just to get the team back on track during HR in the first match. His T-Side calling to play around Oskar was very good during the rematch. The qualifier showed what he can do. There is an interview with the coach James talking about how he picked up the slack when Daps was dropped. That's a real team player imo. Cloud 9 really wants him to coach but I say he should keep playing for a bit longer. Regardless where he ends up he will only help a team and maybe develop young talent in the process. GL Eric!
2016-03-14 20:54
