mousesports, CSGL to DH Malmo

mousesports and CSGL joined the DreamHack Masters Malmö team list following victories over G2 and FlipSid3, respectively, in the first European closed qualifier.

16 teams stood at the beginning in the first closed qualifier for DreamHack Masters Malmö, taking place from April 12-17.

As it often is with online competition, upsets happen and this tournament was no exception, as Dignitas fell to CSGL in the quarter-finals.

The Poles went on to play FlipSid3, who got to the deciding stage following three-map wins versus Preparation and Ancient. CSGL came out on top of an overtime-worthy de_train, as well as a convincing de_cache.

G2 played surprisingly close series with eSuba as well as CPH Wolves before getting matched to Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and company. mousesports made short work of Chosen5 and noKappa (ex-Vexed) on their way to the last-four.

In the semi-finals, the Germany-based team lost de_inferno in overtime, came back from a 3-12 deficit on de_dust2 and advanced over the French-Belgian squad after a 16-13 de_cache.

17-19 vs fnatic on dust 2 on LAN, yea so online. 4 international top 4 titles in 2015 with worse but similar lineups Also they have never lost a series to an NA/SA team on LAN with those 2 lineups (Niko or Spiidi benched), Luminosity included NA talking about being online
2016-03-15 00:34
Unless you mean in BO3+, LG beat mouz in Katowice this year. EDIT: Missed the 'series'. Sorry, man.
2016-03-15 01:39
series is a bo3 ;)
2016-03-15 01:36
I'm fucking retarded and read "Also they have never lost to an NA/SA team on LAN". Sorry, dude.

Ty, rekking NA users is always fun <3
2016-03-15 01:39
Indeed it is, they always think way too good of their trash scene. Now they even try to adopt luminosity to get somehow good. Such a big country and such a waste...
2016-03-15 01:42
true in every point
2016-03-15 01:44
nt bratwursts but the 2 best german teams are carried by non-germans
2016-03-15 07:50
Nobody was talking about that, also the full German PENTA made it out of major groups twice in a row, unlike teams like Titan or Cloud9 who were not regarded shit at that point in time
2016-03-15 13:48
i count even 5 top4 finishes, they placed 2nd against vp on cevo finals at the end of the year aswell.
2016-03-15 01:53
Yeah forgot that, even better. Shows that the amount of hate they got was not justified imo
2016-03-15 01:56
ofc it doesnt, mouz has pretty much more achieved besides the big teams (astralis, fnatic, envy,vp,navi,lg,faze) than anyone else, including arguably teams like g2 or nip who each got huge fanbase

check his lan stats, he has proven himself on lan only thing you could critisize is his consistancy, but thats a problem most players have, even way more established and popular one.
