kioShiMa joins up with FaZe

Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey has officially been acquired by FaZe Clan, the organization announced via Facebook.

After Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill has announced his exit from FaZe in the aftermath of their group stage exit at MLG Columbus, the team had to look for a replacement a little over a week prior to DreamHack Masters Malmö.

That they have found in Fabien "⁠kioShiMa⁠" Fiey, who was replaced by Timothée "⁠DEVIL⁠" Démolon in Envy on March 8. He was still contracted to the American organization, but the terms of his transfer from Envy to FaZe haven't been disclosed.

kioShiMa found a new home in FaZe

According to the release, Maikelele is still a part of FaZe and his future will be discussed within the organization soon.

The announcement of the French addition comes just two days before FaZe take on group D of DreamHack Masters Malmö, also featuring kioShiMa's former team Envy, Virtus.pro and Tempo Storm.

FaZe now have the following starting lineup:

Interesting. Kio is a clutch king type support player. If he join Astralis to replace Xyp9X could be a good choice, but it's hardly say a pure Danish team could receive a French. Many people supposed he could join G2. For FAZE CLAN, they showed 2 "legs"(Jkaem and Dennis) were good(in Cluj), one "leg" was a disaster(when only Jkaem left in MLG, check his disaster statistic). he was absolutely rubbish but he also said he was misused and was not feeling right in his role.

Maikelele was the bad link imo, never the consistent player that Kio can be. Without him and now with a solid player that Kio is, Robban has a very strong team skill-wise. Hope this works out well.

Glad kio back on a team, wish he joined G2 , but faze not a bad choice either :) , envy woulda been awesome still if they kept him, all team go threw a slump, and kio did win so many games for envy due to his clutch skillsors
