TyLoo win Pro Gamers League Spring
TyLoo beat Born of Fire 3-0 in the grand final to win the Pro Gamers League 2016 Spring.
The Chinese LAN tournament took place in Beijing over the weekend and 16 squads were split into four groups. After the best-of-one group stage matches, the top two from each group advanced to the playoffs. The quarter-finals and the semis were played as best-of-threes while the grand final was a best-of-five.
The first finalists were TYLOO, who upset both Luminosity and Liquid at DreamHack Masters Malmö, as they defeated eFuture.BJ in the quarter-finals and FIVE in the semis. Born Of Fire emerged from the opposite side of the bracket after beating BOOT and AllGamers.
TyLoo did not struggle with the local competition
The lopsided grand final kicked off on Mirage and TYLOO took charge right from the beginning with a 12-3 lead on their T-side. They secured the first map with a 16-6 score and the score was the same on Cobblestone as well. TYLOO won the last map, Inferno, 16-7 to end the series 3-0 and they became the champions without losing a single map.
