SK wreck and eliminate Selfless

A second Danish team have blown Selfless out of the water as this time SK took a 2-0 victory over the American team (Overpass 16-3, Cache 16-1) seeing the Danes eliminate their opponents from the tournament.

The result of the picks and bans was that the first map to be played between the two teams would be SK's choice, de_overpass.

The Danish team took quick advantage of their map choice as they hit the ground running winning seven straight rounds, forcing a tactical pause from Selfless. At first it seemed like the pause was serious help allowing the American team to win three rounds, however, SK didn't allow them to pick up momentum as those were the only rounds Selfless would win.

SK continued to plow on through in the second half, lead by Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif who was able to secure an ace in the pistol round of the second half. This allowed SK to comfortably close out de_overpass with a 16-3 scoreline.

Magiskb0Y led the way with a 2.27 rating on de_overpass and 1.94 on de_cache

The battleground for the second map was de_cache and it started out much the same way. SK went on to win the first nine rounds of the half before Selfless decided to pause the match. This time around the pause didn't end up working out as well as post-pause Selfless were only able to win one round to finish the half.

In fact, this was the only round Selfless were able to win as Asger "⁠AcilioN⁠" Larsen and co. won the pistol round in the second half which helped them end the series in dominating fashion as the final map ended 16-1.

You could tell from their online matches that their style wasn't going to work on LAN. Incredibly aggressive, run-and-gun, taking as many gun battles as possible. I didn't really think it was SK playing insanely disciplined/structured CS. It's just much harder to scrim on LAN.
