Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz announced via Twitter that he will be leaving the active roster of PENTA.
The 21-year-old player made his exit just a few days after the ESEA Premier Season 21 Finals where PENTA came second to HellRaisers. PENTA secured a relegation spot for the ESL Pro League and will play against Virtus.pro for a slot in the next season of the ESL Pro League.
Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz previously played for the other big team in the German scene, mousesports, and has been a part of the PENTA organization since May 4, 2015. During his tenure with PENTA, tabseN & company lacked success on an international level, despite their achievements nationally.
The German player revealed that more information about his future and his next team would surface soon and also thanked the organization and his teammates.
"I step down from the current PENTA roster I wish the team and the organization more than the best. We as a team had good and also bad times but at the end my decision is made. I have a bright future in front of me and I hope everything works out. More information soon about my future and team. I want to thank everyone of my team that they accept my decision and support me on top of that I appreciate the work with PENTA and also that they accepted/supported me in that case. Thank you everyone who supported PENTA and me during my time in PENTA." read Wodarz's tweet.
