We grabbed Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz for an interview following OpTic's surprising victory over Astralis in the first round of group A.

OpTic got off on the right foot at ESL Pro League Season 3 Finals, as they upset Astralis in the opening match of group A.

We got to talk to Peter "⁠stanislaw⁠" Jarguz about implementing Oscar "⁠mixwell⁠" Cañellas into the roster and their first experience with him at CEVO Gfinity Season 9 Finals.

We naturally also discussed OpTic's win over Astralis, who they'd prefer to face in the winners' match and what their goals are for this event.

Probably not, but it doesn't mean you can't be happy and revel in a win. Would you rather they sit around moping and depressed from the win against the #4 team?

i like how you make that comment without even watching the interview. he didn't even say what this amateur site quoted him saying. he said "astralis made themselves easy to read" in response to a question how his team didn't fall for any of the fakes astralis made. the interviewer even uses the word "predict" to suggest optic are some masterminds, however the reality is much more simpler the way stanislaw described it. astralis made the mistake of stepping in middle every time they faked so optic could easily rotate. there is nothing unprofessional or disrespectful in that answer regarding the question of fakes. if he was saying in general "astralis are easy to read" that would indeed be unprofessional. in this case this is just a bait title. befitting to the tabloid hltv is.

I dont like how people always try to take away from positive side of a team upsetting a better team...Like in this interview you ask him if he feels like the win came bc astralis might not be practicing inferno anymore and focusing only on nuke. Yeahhh, throw a bo1 so you have to play a better team in elimination bo1. Grow a brain please. Let's see the thought process behind this: oh if we win this bo1, we have to play a arguably better team (lg) in a bo1 to get out of groups. And even if we lose that we still have a bo3 with our good mappool vs a lesser team with a smaller mappool. Or we lose this bo1, play a bo1 vs a lesser team (g2) and maybe drop in groups... Yeah, they totally thought option 2 was the better idea.
