FugLy leaves CLG

Jacob "FugLy" Medina has announced via Twitter that he is no longer part of CLG's active lineup.

The announcement comes in the aftermath of CLG's group stage exit at DreamHack ZOWIE Open Austin following back-to-back defeats against Cloud9, the first of which a 1-16 thrashing.

Jacob "⁠FugLy⁠" Medina had been part of CLG's roster since January, when he was brought in as a replacement for Pujan "⁠FNS⁠" Mehta. During this four-month period, his greatest achievement was helping the team to their first-ever playoff appearance at a Major, at MLG Columbus.

FugLy is out of CLG

The 21-year-old, who played his last official game for CLG on Wednesday, against NRG, did not mention any reason for his departure but dropped a strong hint that it was a team decision.

It is true, I am not playing for CLG anymore as of my last match on ECS the other day. :( Wish them all the best of luck.

Instead of thinking on how to make CLG better in FugLy's stead, people should be thinking that the remaining CLG players should be dispersed among Liquid / C9 in order to consolidate NA's talent. Skadoodle needs to join Liquid. JDM can then replace him on C9. Tarik/Cutler + Pita can replace Slemmy/Irukandji. Then the remaining player out of Tarik/Cutler can go to Liquid. Whomever. Both would work for various reasons. nitr0 elige cutler skadoodle hiko (coach ___) + n0thing tarik shroud jdm stewie2k (coach pita) Looks much stronger than what we have now. Having 2 of the top 3 NA teams scavenge the roster of one other team is the blueprint for NA finding more success at this point.
