Kairi exits gBots active roster
David "Kairi" de Miguel has announced that he has stepped down from gBots' active lineup with immediate effect.
The Spanish player cited lack of motivation as the reason to leave gBots' starting roster, just four months after joining the organisation.
Replacing the 27-year-old will be José "YuRk0" Aspas, who represented some of the most storied Spanish 1.6 teams, including x6tence and Wizards.
Kairi is considering his options
Questioned about his future, David "Kairi" de Miguel, who will remain on gBots as a substitute, did not hide his frustration at the lack of financial resources in Spanish organisations, adding that he will jump at the chance to finally play full-time.
"I would like to thank my former team-mates for the short yet amazing time spent with them and with gBots, who always gave their best," he told HLTV.org.
"On the other hand, I want to think about my future and about my dream, which is to play alongside the best in CS:GO.
"Unfortunately, that cannot happen in Spain. It is impossible to play full-time, which is my dream."
gBots will be hoping to finally stabilise their roster, after also losing Christian "loWel" Garcia Antoran and Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas in recent months. To replace the duo, who decided to further their careers abroad, the organisation signed Omar "arki" Chakkor and Aaron "nmt" Awad.
With these changes, gBots now have:
Rubén "TorPe" Jesús Gómez Rodríguez
Natanael "kanarito" Ródenas Betancort
Omar "arki" Chakkor
Aaron "nmt" Awad
José "YuRk0" Aspas
David "Kairi" de Miguel (substitute)
