CyberPowerPC with $15,000

CyberPowerPC and CEVO announced the Summer tournament of the CyberPowerPC 2016 Pro CS:GO Series.

The $15,000 online North American tournament will kick off on May 28 with Qualifier #1 which consists of an open and a closed stage. The open stage will have a double-elimination format and 64 teams will fight for eight spots at the closed qualifier.

Then, sixteen teams, eight qualified and eight invited, will battle it out in the single-elimination closed stage for a single spot at the Main Event. Qualifier #2 will have the exact same structure and will take place from June 12-27.

The invited parties for the closed stage of Qualifier #1, which will hand out a $2,500 prize, have already been decided and the list consists of well-known teams such as Echo Fox and Splyce. Below are the invited teams:

United States Vault United States Noble Canada TSM United States NRG

The victors of Qualifier #1 and #2 will join six invited teams in the Main Event which will take place on August 6 and 7. The contest will have a single-elimination bracket and all the matches will be played as best-of-threes. The Main Event team list is below:

Brazil Luminosity  United States Cloud9  Brazil Tempo Storm United States Liquid
Canada OpTic United States CLG North America Qualifier #1 slot  North America Qualifier #2 slot 

The prize pool distribution of the Main Event will be:

1. - $9,000
2. - $3,000
3-4. - $1,500
3-4. - $1,500

It's an online tournament, so it can be considered as a practice match. I don't think money is these big teams' concern, they all attend so they can play against one another.
