EURONICS sign FAB roster
EURONICS Gaming have announced that they have completed the signing of FAB Games eSports' CS:GO team.
EURONICS Gaming, the esports branch of the popular electronics dealer, ventured into Counter-Strike in August 2015 when they signed the team known as Fairy Tail, led by former Planetkey Dynamics duo Azmican "asmo" Berberoglu and Benjamin "qk-Mantis" Oberlein.
But after two mixed seasons, EURONICS dropped their sponsorship of the team and began looking for a new roster to support ahead of the ESL Meisterschaft Summer edition.
ScrunK & co sign for EURONICS
Led by veteran Johannes "threeman" Droste, the new roster has steadily climbed the ranks of German Counter-Strike in recent months and was just one map away from reaching the grand final of ESL Meisterschaft Spring 2016.
Along with the move to EURONICS, the team have announced one change to their line-up, with Volkan "Badshah" Tuna making way for Franz "oddo" Geiger, who was part of the organisation's previous roster and is a former team-mate of threeman and Robin "ScrunK" Röpke.
"I am pleased to announce that we will play for EURONICS Gaming from now on," Röpke said in a statement.
"With Euronics Gaming we have a strong partner on our side, making it easier for us to reach our goals in the upcoming season.
"I would like to thank FAB Games for the great time we had and wish them much success in the future."
EURONICS now have the following CS:GO team:
Dominik "failzzr" Hampe
David "dav1dK" Konkol
Robin "ScrunK" Röpke
Johannes "threeman" Droste
Franz "oddo" Geiger
