zakk joins Tempo Storm as coach
Tempo Storm have announced that former ProGaming.TD and AlienTech player Rafael "zakk" Fernandes has joined their Counter-Strike team as coach.
The Brazilian team had been on the lookout for a new coach following the departure of Luiz "peacemaker" Tadeu, who has since agreed a deal with Team Liquid.
Rafael "zakk" Fernandes was part of ProGaming.TD, the first Brazilian CS:GO team to compete abroad, from 2012 to 2013, playing alongside current Luminosity Gaming captain Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo for a brief period.
zakk will coach Tempo Storm's team
After a spell on the sidelines, he returned to action in September 2015 on Keyd Stars but ended up leaving the team in February, when the roster was already playing under AlienTech.
"The path towards one's goals is always hard," he wrote on Facebook. "It could be applied to Counter-Strike, to one's job or to anything in life.
"I have always managed to stay motivated because my friends/fans sent me support messages, even in the toughest periods, and today I begin a new chapter in my career, a challenge.
"I join Tempo Storm with the feeling that I am not joining a team, but a family. I am very happy and motivated, these guys are incredible and I truly believe in their potential."
Tempo Storm, who recently qualified for the ESL Pro League after winning ESEA Premier, will attend the offline qualifier for ESL One Cologne, in Katowice, from June 9-12. The team currently have:
Henrique "HEN1" Teles
Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles
Ricardo "boltz" Prass
João "felps" Vasconcellos
Gustavo "SHOOWTiME" Gonçalves
