cadiaN to play for TSM in ELEAGUE

TSM have announced that Casper "cadiaN" Møller will play for the team as a substitute in ELEAGUE.

The Danish player will step into the shoes of Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, who is ineligible to compete in ELEAGUE due to the tournament's age requirements.

Casper "cadiaN" Møller, who flew to California last week, is on the lookout for a new team following the disbandment of Team Preparation in the wake of the departures of John "wenton" Eriksson and Nicolai "glace" Jensen to fnatic and Escape, respectively.

cadiaN will play for TSM in Atlanta

Last month, he attended the European Minor Championship with SK Gaming as a substitute as Michael "Friis" Jørgensen recovered from hip surgery. In Tours, the Danish team ended up being eliminated after two matches following defeats against Orbit and Epsilon.

"Casper is a player that brings a lot of experience with him and we felt that he was our best option once we learned about the twistzz situation," TSM stated on their website.

TSM have been drawn in Group D for ELEAGUE, alongside fnatic, FaZe and dignitas. Their first match in the tournament, scheduled for June 14, will see them take on the Swedish giants.

This means that TSM will compete in ELEAGUE with:

Canada Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen
United States Timothy "autimatic" Ta
United States Hunter "SicK" Mims
Canada Pujan "FNS" Mehta
Denmark Casper "cadiaN" Møller (stand-in)

Age requirement is a joke. If there is a kid who's a beast at cs he should be able to compete with the rest, regardless of age. It's a video game, age wont affect anything.

isn't the age requriment because of where it is hosted? like the state has some laws about it or something?

No idea, all I know is that it's a dumb rule
2016-06-06 23:15
Well, the age limit should be lowered to 15 I think. Alot of younger pro players are 16 and 17, and cant go to big LANs because of it.
2016-06-06 23:14

Even lower than that would be good. Think about how young n0thing and swag were when they started, there are definitely other kids like them that could be prevented from competing because of rules like this.
2016-06-06 23:17

I think 15 is a realistic first step though, especially with american tournaments. I also don't think many top teams will compete with 12-13 year old kids at this point.
2016-06-06 23:26
swag attended esea lans with only 15 years

I am 16, and I probibly playing in Unicon in latvia, in August. So it's ratatrded that there is a age limit. 15 should be the time it's allow maybe 16, because from 16 your bring some responsibility about your selfs at that age.

I'm not gonna look for the source now. In Atlanta minors can't participate on a TV show like ELEAGUE
2016-06-06 23:21
No I'm uh pretty sure it has to do with being on TV
2016-06-06 23:25

Well that's what i mean by being EL rules. They are a TV show so they have to respect TV show rules. It has nothing to do with USA forbidding players to play i guess

I still think he's joining CLG after ELeague, would make sense as to why pita is playing if cadiaN already agreed to play for TSM (which would be the complication stopping CLG stopping them announcing their 5th)

Worst tournaments ever, they invite shit teams, alot of these teams will play with stand-in, and good teams like Tempo Storm/Imortals, GODSENT, E-FRAG, CSGL not receive one spot
2016-06-07 14:53

2016-06-07 16:02
cadiaN seems to professionalise as a stand-in from time to time as well as the odd casting job and the odd opportunity at the analyst desk.
2016-06-07 16:48
omg he is soooo bad haha
2016-06-08 00:02
The statement made me laugh. Alot of experience? iIn what? losing, not passing the groups at majors, dragging a team down everytime he standins and the legend, losing to a girl.... LOL
