asmo joins DarkPassage
Former n!faculty and 3DMAX member Azmican "asmo" Berberoglu has joined DarkPassage, the player has told HLTV.org.
The 25-year-old, who competed at a top level during the early days of CS:GO, had been been without a team since the disbandment of the former EURONICS roster following a series of mixed results.
After analysing his options, Azmican "asmo" Berberoglu decided to link up with the former Deathtrap team, who joined DarkPassage at the start of the month. with Berker "gAndhi" Kubat making way for him.
asmo joins Turkish team
Last week, the Turkish team came through the first open qualifier for DreamHack Summer but ended up being eliminated in the first round of the closed qualifier following a 0-2 defeat against ENCE.
"After much consideration I have decided to join a team that brings new challenges and new experiences," he told HLTV.org.
"The main difference will be that the team will communicate in Turkish, my mother tongue, which is something I have not done so far in my career.
"I am very much looking forward to it. We will start as a team by trying to play practically any qualifier we can so we can gain experience, have meaningful practice and potentially secure spots in offline tournaments.
"I am very happy that the team has come together and that I can play professionally again.
"I would greatly like to thank Dark Passage eSports club for this opportunity, and am looking forward to playing again!"
