Astralis ease past CLG in ELEAGUE
Astralis have picked up two more points in ELEAGUE after defeating CLG twice in the last match of the day (16-2 on Train and 16-6 on Dust2).
The final match of the day was a battle of two teams attending the event with stand-ins: Astralis, who are fielding coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen until Finn "karrigan" Andersen has arrived in Atlanta, and CLG, who are playing with Faruk "pita" Pita until finding the successor to Jacob "FugLy" Medina.
Train was the first map of the match, and here Astralis got off to a flying start on the Terrorist side, cruising to a 6-0 lead as they kept slicing through CLG's defense far too easily.
Astralis with two easy wins over CLG
With a trio of AK-74 kills from Stephen "reltuC" Cutler, CLG finally managed to get a round on the board, but things quickly went sour for the North Americans as Astralis hit back right after, with the scoreline blooming to a 13-1 advantage before the home team picked up the final round of the half.
CLG almost pulled through with a B push in the pistol round as Terrorists, but Astralis managed to get the defuse in the nick of time. The Danish team would follow it up with two more rounds to lock down the map 16-2 as CLG's force buys failed to produce any effect.

Next up was Dust2, which followed the same pattern as the first map as Astralis stormed to a 5-0 lead. A three-man spraydown from James "hazed" Cobb put CLG back in the game, and even though they were strapped for cash for a couple of rounds, the North American side put together a string of rounds to reduce the deficit to a minimum.
Powered by a great individual performance from their newest member, Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye, Astralis increased their lead to 9-4, with CLG taking the final two rounds to keep their hopes alive.
zonic went huge in the pistol round as CT and picked up four kills to put Astralis on the brink of victory. The Danish team would continue in the driving seat during gun play, sealing a 16-6 victory that puts them at the top of the table on a perfect 4-0 record.
