EnVyUs first victory over Immortals

A swift B defense by Envy had the French squad off to a flying start with Dan "⁠apEX⁠" Madesclaire getting a triple and denying the Brazilian team access to the site. Envy then went on to rack up the following four rounds to establish a hefty 5 – 0 lead.

The Brazilians didn’t back down, however, and Immortals then won four rounds in a row before Ricardo "⁠boltz⁠" Prass got two entry frags on A long followed by three more throughout the round for the ace to tie the match up at 5 even. Immortals then picked up the lead for the first time by winning the anti-eco that ensued.

Envy bounced back, however, and locked down the last three rounds of the half, with a particularly good play by Timothée "⁠DEVIL⁠" Démolon getting three kills on A long to open the 14th round and force Immortals into an eco on the last round of the half.

The French squad had the wind in their sails going into the terrorist side of the map, and after winning the pistol round Envy racked up rounds including an ace by Envy’ star player apEX on the 20th round.

Not giving up a single round in the second half, the boys in blue started their journey to Cologne on the right foot and will have one victory tallied out of the three necessary to secure their assistance at the next Major.
