Liquid to sign Pimp - Report
Team Liquid will sign Jacob "Pimp" Winneche from SK Gaming, according to a report from ESPN.
Liquid have been depleted to a four-man roster after parting ways with Eric "adreN" Hoag, with Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev having agreed to fill in for the team for their next two events, the ECS Season 1 finals and ESL One Cologne.
The North American organisation revealed at the time that they had already found a new fifth player, who, due to unspecified reasons, would not be able to play for the team until after the Major.
Pimp is reportedly poised to join Liquid
And according to a report from ESPN, Liquid's new player is Jacob "Pimp" Winneche, who was recently in North America competing in ELEAGUE, in which SK Gaming finished third in their group.
This is not the first time that Pimp has been linked with a move to North America. Back in December, he revealed that he declined an offer to play in the region, citing "unsureness with moving to a new continent" and unwillingness to play with a roster that was not established.
If confirmed, the move will leave Liquid with:
Spencer "Hiko" Martin
Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski
Nick "nitr0" Cannella
Kenneth "koosta" Suen
Jacob "Pimp" Winneche
