Official: FlipSid3 sign wayLander
FlipSid3 Tactics have confirmed on their website that they have completed the signing of Jan "wayLander" Rahkonen from Gambit Gaming for an undisclosed fee.
The Finnish talent has been playing for FlipSid3 as a substitute since the departure of Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk to HellRaisers, exactly two months ago.
During this period, Jan "wayLander" Rahkonen attended two events with FlipSid3, the SL i-League Invitational #1, where the team finished 7th-8th, and the offline qualifier for ESL One Cologne, where they claimed a spot at the next $1 Million Valve-sponsored Major.
In Katowice wayLander turned many heads as he posted a team-leading rating to 1.18 and led the charge for FlipSid3 during their final match against HellRaisers with a whopping 1.88 rating.

With FlipSid3 due to play in ELEAGUE this week, the North American organisation have released a statement saying that an agreement has been reached with Gambit for the permanent signing of wayLander, who has been replaced on the Russian team's roster by Ivan "spaze" Obrezhan.
"We are glad to have reached an agreement with Gambit over WayLander, and are excited to move forward with a full roster," FlipSid3 Tactics COO Dana "wuvs" Kawar said in a statement.
"A special thank you as well to Gambit for allowing us to practice and compete full time with WayLander throughout the negotiation process."
FlipSid3 Tactics, who will face Na`Vi, mousesports and Echo Fox in ELEAGUE, now have this official lineup:
