Devilwalk joins OpTic as coach
Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg has joined OpTic Gaming as coach, Damian "daps" Steele has confirmed on Twitter.
The news had been accidentally leaked by Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas on his stream last night as he showed a WhatsApp group chat with OpTic players discussing travel plans.
Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg has been out of action since February, when he stepped down from Ancients, now known as GODSENT. At the time, he stated that he was taking a step back from gaming due to wrist problems.
Devilwalk returns to coaching
The 25-year-old is no stranger to coaching, having guided fnatic through one of their most successful periods, which included a Major title at ESL One Katowice 2015.
OpTic were the big sensation at the offline qualifier for ESL One Cologne, where they picked up wins over Fluffy Gangsters, FlipSid3 Tactics and HellRaisers. The Canadian team have been drawn into Group 4 of the Major, alongside Na´Vi, Ninjas in Pyjamas and FlipSid3.
OpTic Gaming's roster is now:
Keith "NAF" Markovic
Damian "daps" Steele
Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz
William "RUSH" Wierzba
Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas
Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg (coach)
Well it kinda got leaked but to confirm @DevilwalkCSGOD will be our new coach going forward.
