ESL to host event in São Paulo

ESL will host an international event in São Paulo later this year, Managing Director Spike Laurie has confirmed to omelete.uol.com.br.

Little is known about the event so far other than it will be held in São Paulo, in October, and will feature top teams from all over the world.

According to Spike Laurie, taking an international championship to Brazil will allow ESL to "continue its support and commitment" towards the Brazilian esports community.

ESL is currently hosting the first edition of the Brazilian Premier League, which is aimed at contributing to the growth of the competitive scene in several different games.

Over $10,000 are up for grabs in the Counter-Strike tournament, which features teams like g3x, CNB and INTZ.

Zika doesn't kill, it isn't even in a pandemic state, there were only 9 confirmed cases in Sao Paulo, a city that has nothing less than 11 million habitants, zika only presents danger to pregnant woman, I dont think that any pro player is actually pregnant.
