Australia qualify for TWC 2016

The Australia national team have qualified for the 2016 World Championships after breezing past New Zealand 3-0 (16-1 on Dust2, 16-2 on Mirage and 16-4 on Cache).

The Oceanic spot at TWC was contested last night by the national teams of Australia and New Zealand in a single match, featuring a best-of-five format.

The match ended up being a walk in the park for Australia as they cruised to a clean 3-0 win while giving up just seven rounds across the entire series.

They're allowed to do that, in the online matches they literally use different players every match. Every national team has like 10 players that are allowed to play in the matches.

i wish every game was like that, it sounds dumb, but if someone has a bad game you could replace him for one map with someone else and play the game, only it would be fucked up for major, since no one is going to make more than 5 signatures per team.
2016-06-30 14:58

yeah because signatures>all. YOu are so stupid man. Back in the 1.6 days there was no skins, no stickers and people were still watching for a beautiful game. Now it's all for skins and bets. DIsgusting.

didnt even say anything about signatures being most valuable thing, but okay, if you are butthurt kid, let it be.

Well, he's right about the skins and bets tho. If a team loses on which a 12 yo skinbetting faggot has bet, they all must die from cancer. It's pathetic really.

Because the strength in depth goes the other way around in union. ABs have too many good players for every position. You guys keep have weak spots, and keep playing players like Phipps. And whilst Foley on form is great, he seems really inconsistent. Although you seem you be lacking good leadership, something we seemed to have gained in Hartley.

hltv found it too difficult to show the difference in both flags so they made the nz flag as bright as possible EDIT: So judging by the results, two matches later and we'd have a NZ victory?
2016-06-30 15:26
Whoa 7vs5? Server didn't have auto team balance setting I guess.
2016-06-30 15:36
i think swapping 2 players mid-game can be a really good decision, if the players trust the call. it's win or lose, if the standins havent played that much with the squad, its rip. but if they play good, they will bring very nice variation.
