dignitas send CLG packing

dignitas beat CLG 16-1 on Cobblestone, eliminating the American team at ESL One Cologne.

The elimination match of Group A brought together Dignitas who lost to their fellow countrymen in their opening match, and CLG who couldn't put up a fight against Gambit. The battle to stay in the tournament was on Cobblestone with CLG on the starting on the CT-side.

Dignitas secured the pistol round with René "⁠cajunb⁠" Borg's opening kill and made it 3-0 after winning the anti-ecos. Ruben "⁠RUBINO⁠" Villarroel's triple opening kill in the fourth round worsened the situation for CLG who trailed 0-4.

Tarik "⁠tarik⁠" Celik almost clutched a 1vs3 but RUBINO came on top, extending the lead to 6-0. CLG were able to stop Dignitas for once but the Danes replied immediately. The North American called for a timeout when the score was 9-1 but it didn't work as Dignitas led 14-1 at halftime.

RUBINO's quad kill in the second half pistol round summarized the match and Dignitas finished the match off 16-1.

WASTED SPOT!!!! CLG qualified playing other tier1000 teams from NA.... meanwhile teams like GODSENT or Tyloo left outside, so that CLG and Optic could get 16-0ed

GODSENT is way too inconsistent, they only show up when playing at home, don't tell me that a team which finished last place at EU minor deserves the major. CLG became legend at MLG Colombus after defeating nV and beating Gambit in decider. And Tyloo ... Well they choked at the qualifier. Stop saying that a team is a wasted spot, if they are playing a major, it's because they achieved enough to earn their spot.

You sir, are retarded. 1. Valve didn't add anyone. All those teams have deserved the place by either acquiring a Legend status, or powering through the qualifier. 2. It's not anyone's fault that G2 (former Titan) are shit on Mayors since 2013. Never once did they get out of groups. They got what they deserve.
