SK Gaming coach Wilton "zews" Prado has left the team to play again, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo has revealed.

The news was broken by Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo last night on Brazilian television channel Esporte Interativo as he discussed his esports career and his team's rise to the top.

The 25-year-old did not reveal which team Wilton "⁠zews⁠" Prado will be joining, but rumours in the scene suggest that it will be Immortals, who recently won DreamHack ZOWIE Open Summer.

zews has been the team's coach since November 2015, when he was recruited from GamesAcademy alongside Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau and Epitacio "⁠TACO⁠" de Melo. Before taking up coaching positions, he played for semXorah in both 1.6 (attending CPL Brazil 2006) and CS:Source, and for ProGaming.TD in CS:GO.

"zews is leaving the team now, he is playing once again," Toledo said.

"We did not talk about this here [on the show], but he is going to play once again."

SK Gaming, who picked up their second Major title of the year at ESL One Cologne, have recently been invited to compete at ESL One New York and IEM Oakland, taking place from October 1-2 and November 19-20, respectively.

From conversations and interviews with him and FalleN, zews has always put a lot of effort in finding new things and doing research overall, but most calls were FalleN's.

Yeah, it's very clear when you listen SK's POV. But coldzera has a important role aswell, he calls sometimes and he's the one that gives FalleN some feedback about the round. Also, zews was the one finding new smokes (specially one-way's), and he helped them with their communication (when someone didn't hear something, usually fer, and etc.).

Isn't coldzera more like..when he wants to make a play he can just say it and FalleN basically allows it/everybody wants him to make this play? And zews is more like motivation/calming the guys down guy?

The thing on SK is that everyone knows what to do on a part of the map. For example: FalleN calls for a slow hold round on cbble as T. Everyone knows what to do and how to do it, the IGL doesn't need to be specific. FalleN trust his players and that gives more freedom to them. After that the captain just need to say how they are goint to end the round (B split, B rush, A split etc.). Usually no one argues about the rounds, but coldzera is the one that gives FalleN some feedback about how the round went. Usually teams discuss that after the match is over, but sometimes there is relevant info for the following rounds. He works like a second IGL. Sometimes when things aren't working out, he's the one giving calls and etc. zews' role as I said, was mainly outside the server. When the match is live, he helps with comms, tips and some thoughts about how the other team is playing. Check this video: youtube.com/watch?v=gQiBawf-8-Y . This play was possible because of zews. He was the one telling TACO to hide and do a sneaky play.

You are coach of the best team in the world which under your coaching the team is ranked number one in the world PLUS won 2 major , making alot of money from sponsors , stickers , tour prizes.
