USA qualify for TWC 2016
The American national team have qualified for the 2016 World Championship after defeating Canada 3-0 in the North American qualifier grand final (19-16 on Dust2, 16-9 on Cache and 16-12 on Cobblestone).
The next regional qualifier for the eight team, $150,000 World Championship 2016 (taking place in Belgrade, Serbia from October 5-9) was the North American qualifier and it was the expected regional heavyweights of the United States of America and Canada that made it to the best-of-five grand final of the qualifier.
With both sides bringing extremely skill-stacked lineups out for the grand final, the first map of Dust2 at first had Canada's footprint on it until Spencer "Hiko" Martin and his team edged out the map in overtime 19-16.
RUSH's United States team took down Canada across three maps
With the red, white and blue team then taking the second map of Cache with a comfortable 16-9 scoreline, it came down to Cobblestone and here Team USA was again victorious with a 16-12 victory and thus qualified for the World Championship finals in Belgrade over their northern neighbours with a 3-0 victory.
