VG qualify for SL i-League S2 Finals
VG.CyberZen have secured their place at SL i-League StarSeries Season 2 Finals by defeating MVP project 2-1 (Mirage 9-16, Train 16-10, Cache 16-2) in the China LAN qualifier's semi-finals.
After Stage 1 of the China qualifier came to an end, eight teams joined four invited sides (TYLOO, VG.CyberZen, MVP Project, Athletico) in Stage 2, played offline in Shanghai.
In the upper side of the single-elimination, best-of-three bracket Bin "Savage" Liu's squad convincingly defeated BOOT, while the only Korean team edged Born Of Fire after a semi-random draw took place to find the quarter-final match-ups.
