Exile5 add kyoto
Team Exile5 have announced on their website, that they have acquired the services of Dylan "kyoto" Brown from Athletico Brotherhood, replacing Zoran "zorboT" Serovski who has moved to a substitute role due to personal reasons.
The Australian team was recently seen playing in the ESL Australia & NZ Championship S1 Finals, in Sydney, where they finished rock-bottom in the competition, unable to take a single map off their opponents.
Brown took to Twitter on June 30th that he originally left Athletico. However, Athletico were unable to field their new fifth at ESL ANZ Finals, Travis "wizard" Richardson, due to roster locks. This was the same team that just narrowly missed the opportunity to qualify for the SL i-League StarSeries S2 Finals, hours ago.
Left with no other choice, Brown reunited with his former teammates for one last ride after being a part of the core roster since July 2015. The team eventually took home 1st place at the event, with him having the highest rating (1.09) out of the team.
kyoto joins the active lineup
Coming home with a superb showing, the young 17-year-old player has moved on and joined Team Exile5. He will be playing alongside 1.6 veteran Fergus "ferg" Stephenson and former Legacy player, Sam "mizu" Richardson, who attended the FACEIT Stage 3 Finals at Dreamhack Winter 2015.
Here is what the team captain, Stephenson had to say on the addition:
''I am really excited about picking up Dylan, he proved himself at the ESL ANZ S1 Finals by constantly showing up for his team and proceeding to winning it despite the adversary. He's an explosive, young and motivated player which is exactly what we need in the team. zorboT will be taking care of some important family affairs which he will be putting more of his focus into, and will remain on the team as a 6th man as we continue to move forward.''
In a statement given to HLTV.org by Brown, also included in the announcement:
''I will officially be a part of the Exile 5 roster. I'm glad that I can play with players that I had always wanted to play with and that have the same goals and aspirations as myself. I hope to use this as a learning experience and to progress myself as an eSport athlete. Thank you to Exile5 for a great opportunity to prove my growth as a player.''
The team’s roster is as followed:
Fergus "ferg" Stephenson
Sam "mizu" Richardson
Peter "pecks" Nguyen
Seth "seth" Leeson
Dylan "kyoto" Brown
Zoran "zorboT" Serovski (Substitute)
