Echo Fox, MK fill up GC semi-finals

Echo Fox have defeated ENCE 16-12 on Cache for a spot in the ESEA Season 22 Global Challenge semi-finals, while [t,6959,bg,2799,3183,5327,7834,8412] took down [t,6621,br,2532,5698,5736,7382,10563] in Group B's decider 16-6 on Train.

After both last-minute replacements, ALTERNATE aTTaX and Crowns, secured their spots in the semi-finals of ESEA Season 22 Global Challenge, Echo Fox and ENCE played the first decider.

On the fifth Cache of the tournament, Sean "seang@res" Gares' side put in a formidable Terrorists side worth 11 rounds before the sides swapped.

Favourites Echo Fox and Mortal Kombat made it to GC semi-finals

The Finns then attempted to make a comeback, but Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan's ace in an eco round put his team on match point at 15-8 and closed it out after four more rounds went the other way.

MK and g3x were up next with Group B's decider, where the Bulgarians kicked things off with a dominating 8-0 lead on Train as Counter-Terrorists, with one of the rounds including an ace from Simeon "dream3r" Ganev.

That was where their streak ended, as Lucas "steel" Lopes's squad only dropped one more round during the rest of the half for a 6-9 scoreline.

Dropping the pistol round, g3x nearly overturned a 3v5 situation in the following forcebuy, although Nikolay "nkl" Krastev clutched the final 1v3 as his team made it 12-6. The remainder of the match was a landslide, as MK secured the last semi-finals spot with a 16-6 win.

Why the fuck is victor put at the bottom of the scoreboard when he did the most damage and had the most kills?
2016-08-27 22:02
agreed that the hltv rating system is fucked yet people use it all the time as the main statistic
2016-08-27 22:07
I am sure he really cares about the HTLV leaderboard
2016-08-27 22:55
You have a point. But these leaderboards are miss leading. You know the average hot cancer who just looks at the top. They will go on thinking dreamer is better than victor. Don't know why I'm a bit angry over tier 2.5 competition.
2016-08-27 23:00
The statistics are useful in the bigger picture, i.e. how well has someone been playing over the past few months. It does not really matter how many kills a particular player got as long as they won the game and are in the green.
2016-08-27 23:04
Yes. I see where you are coming from. But if we look at the statistics we see that victor clearly carried. He did the most damage which is the most important stat. If you drop a 50 bomb with 60 adr it's not gonna be as impressive as a guy who dropped a 30 bomb with 120 adr. But whatever. Dreamer did the least damage. Why is dreamer first and victor last.
