Prep and paiN to ECS Dev. leagues *

The CIS team Preparation and paiN from Brazil qualified for the ECS Season 2 Development League in Europe and North America, respectively.

The fourth and last open qualifiers for the developmental leagues of ECS Season 2 took place over the weekend and two more teams to compete in the European and North American divisions have been determined, leaving only one spot in the European division which was relinquished by Natus Vincere.

paiN who features Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's ex-teammate Caio "zqkS" Fonseca in their roster faced XL on Train in the grand final of the North American qualifier and the Brazilian side emerged victorious with a 16-5 scoreline, becoming the third Brazilian team in the NA division.

zqkS' team will participate in the ECS S2 Dev. League

The qualifier taking place in Europe was won by ATB who booked their ticket after defeating Preparation 16-10 on Mirage in the grand final, joining their Polish brethren AGG who secured a spot in the first open qualifier.

* Update: Following the end of the qualifier, ECS officials revealed that ATB will not be allowed to participate in the league due to fielding two currently Valve-banned players for match fixing - Michał "michi" Majkowski and Mateusz "matty" Kołodziejczyk. The last slot went to the other grand-finalists, Preparation.

Here is the team list for each developmental league:

Europe North America
Sweden GODSENT Brazil SK
Other Relinquished slot Australia Renegades
Russia Gambit Brazil Immortals
Ukraine FlipSid3 United States Selfless
Poland AGG (Open qualifier #1)  Canada RONIN (Open qualifier #1)
Denmark Heroic (Open qualifier #2)  United States Prospects (Open qualifier #1)
Denmark Tricked (Open qualifier #3) United States SofaKingGood (Open qualifier #3)

To be honest, they lost only to 1° and 2° place, and put some good fight besides Train.

thanks to lg retaining their spot... I think that there's chance for 2 out of the 3 br teams to qualify, that is obviously world's best SK, and immortals. Other spot will go to rng and selfless I think
